Your Brainwaves and You

Your brain functions on electricity and the patterns of that electrical activity are called brainwaves. The speed of those waves, or frequency, is measured in waves per second, or Hertz (Hz).

Your brainwave frequency is indicative of your mental state - be it stressed, relaxed, focused, or asleep. When you're stressed, you find it difficult to relax or fall asleep. When you're tired, you find it difficult to concentrate. These are indicators that your brainwaves are not in line with your desired activity.
